David Boreanaz Promises a Memorable Final Mission in ‘SEAL Team’
In an upcoming episode of “SEAL Team,” David Boreanaz’s character, Bravo Team leader Jason Hayes, takes a rare moment to unwind on a beach with a bottle of the show’s fictional Liberty Anthem beer. Hayes reflects on the satisfaction of a successful mission, remarking, “Beer always tastes better after a mission’s success.”
For Boreanaz, who has portrayed Hayes since the show’s debut in 2017, the final season carries special significance. With Season 7 marking the end of the popular Paramount+ series, Boreanaz feels a deep connection to the farewell.
“I’ve always seen the ‘SEAL Team’ dialogue as a metaphor, and now feels like the right time to end the series,” Boreanaz, 55, shared with USA TODAY. “But that beer … it tasted bittersweet.”
As the series concludes, fans and the cast alike prepare to say goodbye to the show that has been a staple of military drama since its launch. The first two episodes of the final season will be available for streaming on Sunday, bringing a poignant end to the journey of Bravo Team.
